Vistas of Valdez..Part 3

When skies were clear, they were glorious!  We always took advantage of those days to travel back down the Richardson Highway, to explore Jeep roads, take short walks down trails and seek out the best mountain vistas.

One last view of the Valdez Small Boat Harbor

And one last drive back down the most scenic Richardson Highway.

Our views along the ascending crest of Thompson Pass.

A stop by the Worthington Glacier offered us a different perspective this time.  Most of the snow on the walking trail had melted as well as the ice on the pond.
The water at the pond's edge was so clear I could see the glacier silt coating a birch leaf.

The sweeping mountain vistas we were looking for!

What a treat, we also saw some tundra swans.
