There Goes Time, Flying By Again

Is it too late to wish everyone Happy New Year?  I hope not... here's wishing all of our family and friends a healthy and peaceful Happy New Year, 2016!

Ron and I enjoyed extended holiday time in North Carolina with my Mom and family.  Unfortunately bad colds prevented us from leaving on our departure date.  Once we felt more like traveling, we took our time moving southward.  We eventually arrived here in sunny Florida right after the first of the year.  We are back at our winter campsite in Deer Creek RV Park located in central Florida.

Our cat, Little Boy, recognized his winter stomping grounds almost immediately.

Yumm..fresh green grass to munch on.

Yes..my favorite scratching tree is still here.

Ahh..this sun feels great.

Now..where are those gecko lizards?

Our winter plans are to complete several projects on the Jeep and motorhome.  The Jeep needs a thorough cleaning and wax job plus new shocks.  The motorhome needs the same, a spring cleaning inside and out with a wash and wax job, some paint touch up, new tail lights, new muffler upgrade and maybe even a kitchen backsplash remodel.  We still have that pesky air level leak that Ron hopes to address as well.  We'll see how all of this works out.  Hopefully, we will get in a little more Florida exploring this season too.

And the flowers here are just as beautiful as I remember them too.

More later.

  1. Glad to see you posting again. Little boy looks so cute in his new outfit. Peanut is too afraid to even come out on our screen porch. God knows what he does all night, I hear him galloping around. Can hardly wait to see you both.

  2. Glad to see you made it to Florida and that Little Boy is happy to be at his winter home. As for the maintenance, what a beautiful site to be stuck at while you are completing your winter projects. All is well for Herman and I and we wish you a Happy New Year
