We have completed our yearly scheduled doctor and dental appointments and enjoyed many, many special visits with family and friends. We enjoyed a very nice Christmas Eve with family and then spent a quiet Christmas Day with Mom. It was a successful yet busy December.
Finally, we are now Florida bound. Tonight finds us at Palmetto Shores RV Resort in Summerton, SC.
Traffic headed south was extremely heavy and moved slow at times. This was as far as we made it today.

I-95 S is not the place to be on a Saturday! We learned our lesson :) You should fare better after today. Safe travels and welcome back! The weather has been loverly :) (for the most part)

ReplyDeleteWe just got back from a surprise Christmas trip to NC to visit the family. We drove the truck up I95 last Tuesday. It was totally foggy from Jacksonville all the way through NC. When we drove over the big lake in SC, we couldn't see the water, sky or horizon. Felt like we were driving into space.
